I have a stool collection. These are just a few of the 18 stools I currently own. It all started quite innocently about 10 years ago when I won an Eames Walnut Stool at the Designer's Showcase House in San Francisco. Then I got a red Tam Tam stool online. The next stool I purchased was a Capelli stool from Herman Miller. Once I had 3 stools I guess it officially became a collection. So anyway I saw this greeting card yesterday and had to have it - it's so funny!
Not sure what the next stool purchase will be- we're running out of room. Most of the stools are on top of a bookcase in the living room and the remainder are scattered around the house. Hell - it's better than doing drugs, right?
Oh and Joel started and has almost completed his own collection: Kidrobot Yummy Donuts. More on that later.
Oh and check out the awesome Thanksgiving Turkey cake my Aunt brought to dinner - so cool!

Oh... and I bought myself a present at the Kartell sale... have a look-see here. I found the "Saint Esprit" tree trunk stool on ebay a coupla years ago. I got "Napoleon" this morning. As ridiculous as it sounds, I have a pretty extensive stool collection.

Spain was AWESOME. I'm still organizing and labeling my photos on Flickr. I'll post a link once I'm done.
We had such a good time... Madrid > Bilbao > San Sebastian > Barcelona > Valencia > Madrid > home.
Here's a teaser... a photo of the Guggenheim Bilbao during the hourly fog sculpture. That museum is truly amazing. I think I might be morphing into a Frank Gehry fan.
my 2nd design for knit.1 magazine - this is a "gaiter" aka a "neck thing" or a "scarflet" or "neckwrap" or "cowl." call it what you will - it was a quick knit on big fat needles - the yarn is fluffy and lofty and the giant horseshoe cable adds texture to the loopy yarn.
this is in the fall 2007 knit.1 magazine - there are some very cool patterns in there (in addition to mine!) - you should run out and get a copy ASAP.
